New School of Lace Newsletter – Spring 2017

Spring is finally here and with it fresh energy for new starts and great plans.
New School of Lace is ready to make the best from  bright natural light, longer days, and of course, all the spring colours and shapes that are finally everywhere around us!

In April and May we plan many activities locally and some online, and we would be happy to see you joining in and participating in our small, but growing lace community. We look forward to seeing many lacemakers from British Columbia and Washington state who are coming to Surrey for an annual Lace Getaway on April 24-26. This year’s event is organized by Vancouver Lace Club, and will feature members lace exhibition, TesseLace workshop, antique lace talk and two lace supplies vendors!

To connect with those far away, our FaceBook page is active and reaching lacemakers all over the world. We now have more than 1000 followers! If you do FaceBook, follow us, too 🙂

Also, by popular demand, the New School of Lace is now publishing Patterns & Tutorials for Wire Lace. Three titles in BASICS  series are now available in our online shop, Wire Lace Supplies.
