New School of Lace – December 2016 Our November workshop was full of stars and brought colours and shine to lighten up the fall grays. It was great to see many enthusiastic lacemakers working on their lacemaking pillows, weaving delicate plaited lace ornaments with braids, picots and tallies. Those stars will brighten the Christmas season, and awaken memories of old traditions of handmade ornaments….
