Workshop: Spring growth – seedlings, leaves and flowers
Date: April, 2017

Description:

Spring growth workshop is back, and it will bring the same excitement to beginners as well as lacemakers who were growing wire lace leaves with us last year! The newbies will be introduced to leaf tallies with a Seedling pattern that is so gentle and alive with spring energy that it practically grows on its own. Others will learn a bit more about growing foliage with tallies in wire lace. As there is an endless variety of leaves and flowers – there are endless variations of handmade lace in wire. Let’s keep learning – and creating – one leaf at a time, to make our Earth greener and happier!

Instruction will cover: Leaves – leaf tallies, plaited leaves and cloth stitch leaves lace in two colours; various shapes of leaves and using colour in leaf-making.
