Description:
This workshop is specially designed for lacemakers who are making transition from fibre to wire lace.
Learn about different tools, materials and techniques that make it possible to work traditional bobbin lace in wire instead of fibre. Explore the new medium and see how you can apply it in you lace art or jewellery making.
Skills Requirements: Basic bobbin lace skills
Instruction materials: Printed instruction materials are included in the workshop fee
Tools and materials: All special wire lace tools and materials are available for students to use, try, and purchase after the class
Workshop fee:
This is an intensive workshop with maximum of 3 lacemakers in class.
tuition is $30/hr per student with 2 lacemakers in class
or $20/hr per student with 3 lacemakers in class
